WCW

Aka woman crush Wednesday even though I'm doing this at midnight on Wednesday.
Chiaki Kuriyama, the beautiful specimen we all know as 'that girl in kill bill & battle royale'. In particular the shoots she has done for Mika Ninagawa.
A Japanese photographer & film director known for her brightly coloured shoots involving flowers, goldfish, and scenery. Her shoot where she captured Chikai in her princess' shoot particularly what catches the eye. I find her work like a Japanese Kawaii version of David lachapelle's work with the colours and detailed makeup & hair, plus the girly themed shoots.

Cezilia Hjelt - Sweden

This intriguing woman works at Goteborg classic tattooing in Sweden. I came across her via another tattoo artist and saw she was guest spotting at a date in London. I got excited when I had a look at her Instagram account, although I didn't intend on booking in just yet I had added her mentally to my list of artist to check out and get work by in the future. Her art work is something to have a look at too, with her scary portraits and sketches of what I can only describe as monsters? Cezilia's intricate details in her tattooing work caught my eye too. I'm in love with her bitter but sweet style of work. If anyone cares to check her work out have a look at her Instagram: @cezilia_gbgclassictattooing

Flavia Paravisi aka Blu Shei Wei

I had found this wonderful woman years ago while I was (attempting) to do A level art. She not only creates brilliant art pieces but dabbles in tattooing too. And to top it off has created some brilliant street art.
I'm not sure were Flavia is from for certain as I had always thought she was from South America, Brazil for some reason but I have found different websites indicating shes from North America, Tennessee to as far as Barcelona.

The way she draws her women is what interested me the most when I first came across her. The double big eyes and extended eye lashes and not to mention the fact they are scantily clad majority of the time.
I've always had a soft spot for female artists especially ever since GCSE art when I focused most of my projects on female artists, so I am very proud to see another female artist with such talent to add to my list.
